Posterous is being pushed into the great bit-grave of the Internet. Long story short: using Posterous was a love-hate affair, but never lousy enough to make me leave. With Posterous about the dissapear, I'm forced to take admin responsibility back for this blog.

So the opportunity: I'm going to use the static site generator Pelican this time. I pulled all my content off Posterous using their API and wrote some Python scripts to generate separate Markdown files for each post I've made there.

So far, I'm liking it.
