With the advent of the iPhone 5 you have a minimum of 21 images (icons, launch images, and iTunes Connect screenshots) to set up an iOS app. It's a bit to keep track of for both developers and designers.
To help ease the pain, here is a Python script called ScratchAsset which will generate the necessary scratch (or temporary) asset images to put in your iOS project.
