Sending iPhone email more reliable than using the AT&T 3G network

In using Aquí out in the field like at last weekend's San Francisco Street Food Festival, I've noticed that when sending out my location that it's far more reliable to use email, especially when AT&T's 3G or EDGE network is unavailable. This way, the iPhone Mail app will simply hold your message in the draft folder as well as run in the background attempting to send your message until sent, even after you exit Aquí. It's not immediate but it does work by using the age old principle of buffering.
Why the fuss? Intermittent network connectivity. Under the best circumstances, Aquí (and many other Twitter clients as well) should support buffering Tweets. It's on my todo list.
This recalls a quote from the Godfather Part 2 - Willie Cicci: "Oh yeah, a buffer. The family had a lot of buffers!"
